Running the river Hérault in canoe or in kayak Integral trip 15kms

This part of « Les Gorges de l'Hérault » is were your are going to find the bigests rapids. After starting on the location of Ganges you will have 1km to train before arriving at the Middle Age village of Laroque. From here you will succesively pass « la Glissière » (concrete dike that you will slip on), the « Grand S », the « Petit s » then you will arrive to the beautifull Landscape of these more than 100m Gorges of Saint Bauzille de Putois.
One more rapid kown as « Les Piquets » then from here the river gets more quiet until the rapid of « Le Pont-Suspendu », 5 minutes latter you will arrive to our base of Kayak
You can enjoy swiming and find refreshments and snacks on our beach.

You are around the half way of the trip, know you still have 7km to do.

This part of « Les Gorges de l'Hérault » is quiet and wild, no complicated rapids, but a wild landscape far from the road and houses, a sucession of waters bodies and small rapids will allow you to discover the fauna and the flora but also the vestiges of the human activity along the river  (mills, dikes ...).

After arriving at the end of the trip in Brissac, a shuttle will bring you back to the strart where your vehicle is parked.
